Anna Singh


Anna Singh is an Indian fashion designer, mainly working for the Indian movie industry Bollywood. She has designed costumes for over 900 films and has been working since 1998. In 2002 she was the first fashion designer to introduce actress Katrina Kaif in her show as a model. In 2010, she designed the clothes for the actors who participated in the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games which will be hosted in India.




Shabina Khan(शबीना खान ) is an Indian fashion designer, mainly working for the Indian movie industry Bollywood. She has designed costumes for over thirty films and has been working since 1988.

Starting her career in 1988, she had designed clothes for some of India's most famous actors, among them Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay kumar and Madhuri Dixit. She has worked as a costume designer in some of India's most successful movies, among them Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Vivah, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Hum Aapke Hain Koun.

was born 17 July 1960 in Kottayam, Kerala, India. After university, she joined the family textile retailing business 'Seematti' in 1980, working with her father and husband.Seematti was started by her pioneering grandfather & famous textile king Veeriah Reddiar. She became one of the most noticed wedding silk sari designers in south India. Her unique contribution appears to be her efforts to retain the pride of place for saris even in the face of onslaught from Western and North Indian fashions.Beena Kannan attracted attention when the longest ever silk sari created by her (half a km long) entered the Guinness Book of Records and Limca Book of Records in 2007. She has launched her sari designs in UAE (2007) and USA (2009).Her rapport with the weaving communities earned for her a “Lifetime Achievement Award” from Coimbatore Erode Weaving community in 2009.On September 2011, Beena Kannan Designed Saris walk the “Swarovski Elements 2011″ Ramp.


Tanya Ling nee Ghosh (born Calcutta 1966) is an artist, designer and one of the world's leading fashion illustrators. Ling studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London (graduating in 1989) before working in Paris in the design studio of Christian Lacroix. On her return to London she started a contemporary art gallery with her husband William Ling called Bipasha Ghosh.

An exhibition of her own drawings (1996) in the studio of artist Gavin Turk on London's Charing Cross Road led to a commission from British Vogue and a subsequent career as a fashion illustrator. As an illustrator Ling has made work for many of the world's leading fashion publications and fashion businesses including Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Louis Vuitton and Selfridges.

In 2002 Ling launched her own ready-to-wear collection, which was featured in the windows of Henri Bendel on 5th Avenue, New York where the collection was sold. In the following year British Vogue named her one of the most important trend-setters in Britain and The Observer Magazine announced her as their designer of the year. Her A/W 2003 collection was shown at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. She was appointed (2009) as the Creative Director of Veryta, a new Ready-to-Wear collection founded by Filippo Binaghi and Stefano Pilati to support the Veryta Foundation.


In 2011 over fifty of her drawings were acquired by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.


Neeta Lulla is one of India's most successful costume designers, couturiers and fashion stylists. She is amongst the most awarded fashion designers in India having won the National Film Awards from the President of India on 4 occasions for Best Costume Design in a Film and numerous other Indian and international accolades for excellence in the field of fashion designing and styling. In a career spanning over 26 years, she has worked to style the look for some of the Indian Films, biggest stars and worked with Directors in India Cinema. She is known for styling films like Chandni, Lamhe, Khal Nayak, Jeans, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Taal, Kisna, Darr, Aaina, Khuda Gawah,Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Kadhalan, Kshnak Kshnam, Jagadika Veerudu Artiloka Sundari, Devdas, Jodha Akbar, One Night with the King, Sivaji, Kochadaiyaan, Rudrama Devi amongst others. She is credited for creating the look for leading Bollywood actresses like Sridevi, Aishwarya Rai, Juhi Chawla, Kareena Kapoor, Sushmita Sen, Shilpa Shetty, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra amongst many others. Some of the lead actors she's styled include Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

Neeta Lulla has worked on over 300 films in more than 7 languages in Indian & International Cinema. Apart from films she has worked to style major historical epic shows on Indian Television like Shivaji (known as Raja Shiv Chhatrapati) & Bajirao Mastani, One Act Plays, Television Commercials & India's first musical, Zangoora (based at the Kingdom of Dreams). Neeta has showcased her pret & couture line across all premiere fashion weeks in India and some of the biggest international fashion weeks. Neeta Lulla has recently announced the launch of a world class fashion school in association with Subhash Ghai, WWI-Neeta Lulla School of Fashion.


Mana Shetty is the creative director of R House Furnishing Solutions Pvt. Ltd., director of S2 Realty
Developers Pvt. Ltd.,  and wife of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty. She also runs Save The Children India, an NGO set up by her late mother Vipula Kadri, in 1988. Mana has carved a niche for herself and established her own identity not only in the realms of interiors and real estate, but also as a social activist.

Shetty was born as Monisha Kadri to Iftikhar Mustafahasan Kadri, a reputed architect of Mumbai, and Vipula (née Kapoor), a social worker. Her father is originally from Ahmedabad, Gujarat while her mother is Punjabi. She has one sister, Isha, and one brother, Rahul.

Shetty is the trustee of Save The Children India  and one of her resource mobilization efforts is a fundraising exhibition named Araaish, which started in 2007. The funds collected aid the Save the Children India for the benefit of adolescent girls and young women. In January 2013, she opened a home décor store in Worli, Mumbai.


Payal Jain is an Indian fashion designer. She is popular for her corporate uniforms.  She was born in New Delhi and graduated summa-cum-laude in 1993 from Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, California.

Jain worked as a design assistant in some of the prestigious European fashion houses Fritzi, San Francisco and later worked with leading  couturiers Jacqueline De Brey in San Francisco and Ulrich Engler in London.


She returned to India to work. She designed corporate dressing for The Leela, Goa in 1993. After which she designed for over 40 hotels. She participated in some major international fashion shows including Toronto. She wrote a book called as Fashion Studies for aspiring young designers.


Ritu Beri (Hindi: रितु बेरी) (Punjabi: ਰਿਤੂ ਬੇਰੀ) is a New Delhi based International fashion designer. She was the first Asian designer to head the French fashion brand, Jean-Louis Scherrer.

Ritu Beri's father, Balbir Singh Beri was an adjutant at IMA, Dehradun. Her mother, Indu Beri, is an entrepreneur & her younger brother Navin works with her. The designer, in 2004, married exporter Bobby Chadha. Ritu Beri graduated from Lady Shri Ram College in Economics honours after which she joined NIFT. The designer is amongst the first batch of NIFT which then comprised only 25 students. Her final collection titled LAVANYA became one of the highlights. The designer has also trained herself in embroidery under Francois Lesage. Ritu Beri did her schooling from Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan in New Delhi and went on to study fashion arts at the NIFT, New Delhi. Beri launched her label in India in 1990.

She is the only Indian designer to be featured in promostyl's magazine Acustyl, which forecasts fashion trends worldwide. Beri was also named by Time magazine among the People to Watch in International Business. She is the author of the personal fashion book, 101 Ways to Look Good. She also serves on the board of Governors at NIFT, and is an honorary patron of the Savera Association, a popular charity involved in improving the lives of Indian woman.


Kavita Bhartiya often Bardiya is a noted Indian fashion designer. She is behind the Ogaan fashion designer store in India. In August 2007 she announced her new fashion range called 'The Glass House', a range which endorses use of transparent fabrics and pastel colors including Light pinks, sky blues, pista greens and misty greys. The collection is noted for the use of gold and silver geometric prints on light fabrics such as chiffon, georgette, silk-lurex, cotton-lurex, and linen and satin.

The collection was showcased between September 5 and September 9, 2007 Sep 5-9 at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week and was later showcased at the Pret-a-Porter in Paris. Bhartiya said of the range: "I have called my collection 'The Glass House' as glass and transparent embellishments have been extensively used while endorsing the silhouettes", she said. "Everything around me has been the source of inspiration for this collection. The silhouettes retain a structured frame of mind, yet imbibing something for everybody, from the cocoon  to the sheath", she added."


Anita Dongre (born October 3, 1963) is one of the most successful and popular fashion designers of India.
She was born and raised in Bandra, Mumbai. Anita studied Fashion Design at the S.N.D.T. Fashion Institute in Mumbai. In 1998, she started And Designs India Ltd.(ADIL) with her sister Meena Sehra and brother Mukesh Sawlani. Anita is married to Pravin Dongre, an influential businessman and they have a son Yash, who is also an integral part of And Designs India Limited. Anita is a vegan and a member of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)

Today her brands AND (western wear) Global Desi (Indo-western) and her signature label Anita Dongre (Timeless - bespoke bridal wear, Iinterpret - pret label, Grassroot - eco friendly label and AD Menswear) sell from more than 550 stores across India, including multi brand outlets. Anita also has a bespoke jewellery line Pinkcity. A rare collection of jewellery designed using highly skilled traditional Rajasthani craftsmanship, Meenakari and Jadau. Her eponymous labels have enhanced many an award show, global red carpet events, international catwalks and the pages of all the top end fashion glossies. Not surprisingly, ‘Queen of Prêt’ is how the fraternity and media address her. For FY 2013-14 And Designs India Limited estimates to achieve a turnover of 350 Crores. General Atlantic a leading private investment firm has recently made an investment in ADIL. She featured on the cover of the November issue of FORTUNE as one of the 50 most powerful women in business. Anita Dongre is on the advisory board of Lakme Fashion Week 2014 and is also a Gen Next mentor for the same.

I have attended various fashion shows of famous designers and I really like the concept and designs. As I stuck always stuck in my work because I am the product owner of Mobile Device Management Solution Software. So whenever I get some time I see various fashion trends online and execute in my life also.
